DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities during the tour, overnight at hotel.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
Kathmandu valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning, after breakfast, you will visit renowned and two of the largest Buddhist monasteries – Swoyambhunath Stupa and Bouddhanath Stupa. All these are protected by UNESCO as world heritage site. After lunch, you will proceed to Patan Durbar Square and visit Hiranya Varna Mahavir. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 03: DRIVE KATHMANDU – NAMO BUDDHA
After breakfast, you will proceed for the full day trip to Namo Buddha. The pilgrimage site of Namo Buddha is about forty kilometers from Kathmandu. Located on slightly elevated land, it is a pleasant and out-of-the way place. Overnight in hotel in Kathmandu.
DAY 04: CHARTERED HELICOPTER FLIGHT TO TYANGBOCHE MONASTERY (3,867m)
In the early morning, you will be transferred to Kathmandu Airport for a flight to Tyangboche. This is the area where the world famous Tyangboche monastery has been located and is one of the most attractive places of Everest region for natural and religious sightseeing. The monastery is largest in the Everest region. After offering prayers at the monastery and some sightseeing, you will return to Kathmandu on a same chartered helicopter.
DAY 05: FLY KATHMANDU – LUMBINI
After breakfast, you will proceed for Kathmandu Airport for a flight to Lumbini. Upon arrival in Lumbini and after checking into the hotel, rest of the day is free to explore on your own. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 06: LUMBINI SIGHTSEEING
As the historical birthplace of Gautam Buddha, Lumbini is one of the most important religious sites in the world. Buddha who later achieved enlightenment under a Bodhi tree, inspiring a global philosophy of peace and reflection, was born under a sal tree in Lumbini in the month of May in 563 BC. You will then proceed for sightseeing tour at Lumbini that includes several monasteries, eternal lamp, historical sites of Ashoka Pillar, Maya Devi temple etc. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
DAY 07: DRIVE LUMBINI – POKHARA
After breakfast, you will be driven to naturally breathtaking tourist city of Pokhara (175 KM/ 6-7 hours). Overnight in hotel in Pokhara.
DAY 08: POKHARA SIGHTSEEING
In the early morning, you will be driven to World Peace Pagoda in a small hillock facing Pokhara city and the famous Fewa Lake. The Stupa also overlooks magnificent western Himalayan ranges including Mount Fishtail. After lunch, you will proceed to Matepani Buddhist Monastery and Hyamja Monastery. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 09: FLY POKHARA – KATHMANDU
After breakfast, you will proceed to Pokhara airport for a flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, rest of the day is free for your personal and leisurely activities. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 10: DRIVE KATHMANDU – PHARPING & PHARPING SIGHTSEEING
Pharping is a thriving, traditional Newari town, 19km south of Kathmandu and surprisingly untouched by the swarms of tourists that visit Dakshinkali. The town is famous for its pilgrimage sites, the Hindu origins of which have been largely absorbed by the now predominant Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. The town is popular with both Tibetan and Hindu pilgrims. Pharping is identified with the sacred site of Yanglesho, where Guru Padmasambhava attained the level of a Mahamudra vidyadhara. Here you will visit Guru Rinbuche Cave, Guru Rinbuche Monastery and Tara Monastery. You will then be driven back to Kathmandu for overnight.
DAY 11: DEPARTURE
After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the Tribhuvan international airport for your flight towards onward destination.
